Cpl. Howard has been a law enforcement officer since 2017 and served the Laurel Police Department since 2019. Cpl. Howard previously served with the Georgetown Police Department. Prior to being a sworn law enforcement officer, he volunteered as a Police Explorer with the Delaware State Police. Cpl. Howard is currently assigned to patrol on A Shift under the supervision of Sergeant Jared Haddock.
