Drug Dealing Investigation Leads to Five Arrested on Felony Charges
On 01/17/2025, the Laurel Police Department concluded a drug investigation with a search warrant in the 1400 block of the Hollybrook Apartment Complex.
The search warrant resulted in the seizure of crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine and US Currency.
Paul D Parker (43), Otis E Williams (38), Brian D Bell (36) John T Hodge (45) and William Stewart (64), of Laurel, DE, were all arrested and charged with the following crimes:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine (Class D Felony)
-Maintaining a Drug Property (Class F Felony) -Resisting Arrest with Force or Violence (Class G Felony)
-Conspiracy Second Degree (Class G Felony)
-Possession of Controlled Substance in a Tier 1 Quantity (Class G Felony)
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia x5 (Class B Misdemeanor)
-Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class B Misdemeanor)
All subjects were arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on an unsecured bond.
The issuance of a warrant for the arrest of a subject is merely a showing of probable cause by the investigating agency related to the above incident. The subject, once arrested, is considered to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The Laurel Police Department will continue to take a proactive approach to combating dangerous crimes in our town for our residents, sending a strong message that this type of activity will not be tolerated in our community.
