The Laurel Police Department is excited to announce our inaugural Citizens Police Academy "Go Behind the Badge". This event is an 8 week program that provides residents a behind the scenes look at law enforcement. Classes will be once-a-week, three hour sessions containing K9 demonstrations, Simulated car stops, Drug Investigations, Impaired driving seminars, Tour of the 911 center, Use of Force simulators, Criminal investigations and much more.
